HIGH-QUALITY 10 BUSBAR SOLAR CELLS
The LEE-M2-270W flexible solar panel features innovative 10 busbar solar cells, which offer higher efficiency compared to solar cells that use 3, 4, or 5 busbars. The 10BB technology enhances energy collection, ensuring optimal power generation efficiency of the system while providing better anti-cracking performance. With this advanced technology, you can rely on your solar panel to deliver superior performance and long lifespan.
Durable and waterproof
The LEE-M2-270W solar panel is highly durable thanks to the use of high-quality imported materials and special manufacturing processes. As a result, the product comes with a three-year warranty, providing users with peace of mind. With an IP67 waterproof rating, this panel can withstand prolonged submersion in water without affecting its performance, making it a reliable choice for a wide range of applications.
Specially designed for marine use
The new flexible solar panels are designed with materials that are highly resistant to salt spray and corrosion. In addition, the surface material of the panels features a beautiful textured design that complements the aesthetics of ships. These panels are ideal for marine, yacht, and ship use, as they are easy to install and require no concerns about long-term erosion from the ocean. They also do not compromise the beauty of yachts or ships. Rest assured that these panels will provide reliable power generation for your marine needs.

What are flexible solar panels for RV?

Flexible solar panels for RV are encapsulated in flexible, slightly bendable plastic. In this way, they are different from rigid solar panels that encapsulate solar cells in glass.
The top of a flexible solar panel is transparent, allowing sunlight to penetrate it reach the solar cells, and enable them to generate electricity.
Inside the flexible solar panel, thin wires connect the solar cells to an MC4 or similar connector on one end of the panel. This allows the panel to be connected to another panel (in series or parallel) or to a solar controller located between the panel and the RV battery bank.

What is the difference between monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar panels?

The difference between monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar panels is the solar cells themselves.
Polycrystalline solar panels contain cells made from multiple silicon crystals. They are less efficient than monocrystalline panels and are also less expensive. If you’ve ever seen a solar panel with blue cells (meaning the top of the panel is blue), then you’ve seen a polycrystalline solar panel.
Monocrystalline panels have black cells made from single crystals. These panels initially cost more, but they are more efficient at generating solar energy than polycrystalline panels. Since monocrystalline solar cells are made up of single crystals, the electrons have greater mobility, which allows them to produce a greater current.
So while you will pay more for monocrystalline solar panels, you will also get more efficiency for your money or the same power output in a smaller footprint.

What are the benefits of Flexible solar panels for RV?

Flexible solar panels for RVs have many benefits in applications. Let’s take a look at some of the benefits of flexible solar panels for rv over traditional solar panels.
Flexibility
First and foremost is their flexibility (after all, it’s in their name!). This is actually a very important consideration depending on where you want to place your solar panels. For example, RV flexible solar panels can bend to follow airflow or other curves of RVs with curved roofs.
Some RVs have limited roof space for solar panels, and flexible solar panels for rv can more easily work around space constraints. Even people with big rigs who want to maximize their ability to install solar panels at different angles can benefit from the flexibility of flexible solar panels for RV.
We should note that flexibility can also be a disadvantage. Excessive bending of flexible solar panels can seriously damage the solar cells, so care needs to be taken when handling the solar cells before and during installation.
Light
It is worth emphasizing that the LEE series solar panels are semi-flexible solar panels that can bend to a certain curvature and have the characteristics of flexible solar panels, which are much lighter than rigid solar panels. The double-sided ETFE surface material makes the solar panels more resistant to corrosion and weathering.
Easy to install
Flexible solar panels for rv are very easy to install. Many actually come with adhesive backing, but either way, flexible solar panels for RV installation are a breeze. You simply clean the area where the panels will be placed, tape the panels down (avoiding any uneven surfaces that may interfere with the adhesive’s ability to bond), and then surround the edges with quality sealant tape. That’s it! There is no easier way to install solar panels on your RV.
Fewer holes to drill/no mounting brackets required
Another advantage of Flexible solar panels for RV is that fewer holes need to be drilled in the roof because the installation does not require mounting brackets. The fewer holes we have to drill in the RV, the better.

Can you walk on flexible RV solar panels?

The Sungold TF Series flexible solar panel can be stepped on. It has passed rigorous tread tests. However, it is not recommended to walk on LEE series flexible solar panels for RV. Scratches/abrasions on the surface will reduce the amount of light reaching the cells, thus reducing the efficiency of the panel. The pressure of the weight may crack the solar cells themselves, which may significantly reduce the output of the entire panel or cause it to fail.

How do I install flexible solar panels on my RV?

There are several different ways to install flexible solar panels on an RV. In general, most people use one of the following installation methods.
Adhesive Backing
As we mentioned above, many flexible solar panels for RV come with adhesive backing already installed. This makes installation a breeze.
Velcro
With this method, commercial grade/industrial strength Velcro is used to adhere the panels to the surface. This method creates some airflow underneath the panel as it lifts a portion of the panel surface off the roof to the extent of Velcro thickness. However, it also means that water and dirt/debris can also get underneath the panel, leading to the possibility of mold growth.
Screws
Some flexible solar panels have rivets around the edges that allow the panels to be screwed into the roof. Some people may prefer this method of installation, while others will want to avoid any unnecessary holes in the roof.
3M Tape
Once the surface is cleaned and ready for installation, place the tape in place and apply pressure to create a good seal (fair warning – don’t tear off the tape if you’re squeamish!). The tape is available in a variety of widths and lengths.

To pursue better high weather resistance, high salt spray resistance, high corrosion resistance, and high aging resistance, LEE series solar panels especially uses the design of double-sided ETFE, suitable for marine life.

The use of LEE series solar panel is recommended for yachts, RVs, offshore monitoring, off-grid systems for seaside buildings, plateau equipment, plateau camping, and outdoor travel.

If the modules are exposed to the sun for a long time, the cells are easily exposed to ultraviolet rays and the edges turn yellow, which is a normal phenomenon.

3 years warranty. LEE series flexible solar panels have service life of 15 years

Be careful not to cover the flexible solar panels in a large area during use, which will cause hot spot effect and damage the solar cells.
