How Solar Panels Work

When electrons flow unidirectionally around a circuit, solar panels generate direct current (DC) electricity. It’s similar to a battery powering a light bulb. Electrons move from the battery’s negative terminal to the light bulb and then return to the battery’s positive terminal.
